Not so funny....

So, here is my soapbox for the week. If you are sitting in an airplane seat next to someone and they are asleep - do NOT wake them up when the flight attendant comes by with drinks. I repeat, DO NOT wake the person up!!!!!!!! I know you mean well, but the person is sleeping for a reason!! If said sleeping person wants a beverage when they wake up, said person can ring the call button!! Also, another helpful hint for you - if you have to poke the sleeping person more than once, he or she does not want to be bothered. Do NOT keep poking them!!!!

While I am on my rant, one other issue. Crying babies - if your baby keeps screaming at the top of his/her lungs for an ENTIRE flight, you may want to think about alternative modes of transportation. The other 200 people on board don't want to spend 3 hours listening to that!!  Now, before you get mad at me, I traveled many years and many times with my kids when they were babies. I never allowed my kids to act like that for more than a couple of minutes. Maybe I lucked out with great kids, I don't know, but for the love of god, please find a way to quiet them down!!

The kid thing has happened on every flight of mine this week so far, and as I type his, there is one more screaming in the waiting area.  It may be a perfect record this week!!!

Not so funny thing...

So I've only been scared twice while flying........until today. Make it three times now!!!! I normally don't freak out during rough turbulence, but when I see the flight attendant freaking out, I freak out!!! Anyone flying into ORD today, beware, it may be VERY rough on the decent in!!!!!!!

White Girls with Cornrows??

What is it with white girls with cornrows on this flight??? EVERY young girl under 20 on this flight has cornrows!!! I AM headed to Seattle, so it must be a treehugger thing!!! Oh yeah, I also don't think any of these treehuggers use soap when/if they bathe!!!!!

2013 - Are you ready for it?

Not traveling for a few weeks kind of slows this blog down a bit, but be prepared, the travel resumes this week........stay tuned!!!
